What training programs do you offer for those who want to become an ADHD coach?
There are accredited programs at multiple levels, including an Advanced ADHD Coaching Training for certification (60 hours) and longer programs worth university credits, accredited under the European Qualification Framework. Read more here»
What is the difference between Level 1 and the advanced training, level 2?
Level 1 “The Adult ADHD Coaching Approach” is a 130-hour course worth 5 ECTS credits, aimed at those already knowledgeable about ADHD. Level 2 “The Advanced ADHD Coach Training course” is 60 hours live remote training for those who would like to get an international certification as ADHD Coach.
Who are these training programs designed for?
They are suitable for professionals who regularly work with people with ADHD, such as teachers, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and healthcare staff — as well as anyone who wants to become a certified ADHD coach or a group facilitator.
Are the programs accredited? By whom?
A certified ADHD coach is assessed and approved by PAAC (Professional Association for ADHD Coaches) based on clear requirements around competence and ethical standards. Can I take the training online or does it need to be in person?
Live, interactive sessions are strongly recommended — either in person or via live video calls. Automated or self-paced programs are not considered sufficient for building the real-time coaching skills needed to support clients effectively. Level 1 and the group coaching program is in person. Level 2 is live remote
What does "certified ADHD coach" actually mean?
A certified ADHD coach is someone who has been assessed and approved by a long standing and recognised credentialling body like PAAC – the Professional Association for ADHD Coaches. ICF certifies coaches, but only PAAC certifies ADHD-specific coaches.
Is mentor coaching included in the training?
What qualifications does the course leader Marie Enbäck hold?
Marie Enbäck is a Master Certified ADHD Coach with 18+ years of experience coaching clients individually. She has been running accredited ADHD coach training since 2016 and is an active board member of PAAC and the ADHD Coaching Europe Foundation.
